I am very curious as to how within the context of that song the closing line "I leave you with four words: I'm glad Reagan dead" is even remotely random. I think the entire 2nd verse sums up that conclusory statement quite well.

regardless of context, it should not be surprising that Reagan's death brightened at least one person's worldview.

I think you should choose an album you have trouble relating to but are intrigued by and listen to it at least five times and really try to engage with it. Then try to come up with a review that's maybe 2-3 paragraphs long. You'll be surprised what can happen when you really dig in deep.
Soul Discharge: Im not so sure if that is a good idea. His current format is perfect because it allows him to review many albums in a short period of time.
Klein: Thanks for reviewing Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Although I must disagree with your assessment of the album, I guess its not for everyone. I'll try to think of a good third album for you to review.
With that said, I'm happy this thread is back on track!

You forgot the "a" between "is" and "fucking"
He kinda exaggerates how bad Reagan was and since Reagan died well after he was in office, I just found that "glad he's dead" part random.
yeah i just don't have that kind of time or commitment to focus on a single album when I have so many other options of stuff to
No problem! Sorry it didn't work out this time

Come one klein, where are your reviews? My day seems incomplete without them!
Young Marble Giants - Colossal Youth
One of Kurt Cobain's favorite albums and I see why. Album is very relaxing and has a nice rhythm to it. Each song keeps a pretty steady beat, so put this on if you want to just chill. Interesting to see that Young Marble Giants don't have much a discography but whatever breakups happen. I like the way they channel their energy. Pretty good singing voice and bass

Death Grips - The Money Store
This is some of the most poser shit I've ever listen to. The dude can't even rap. Not only that but I can't understand wtf he is saying. Most the beats and music that is in the background is awful as well. Back when I was getting ready for Coachella I previewed some Death Grips and grew immediate dislike towards them.

Klein's Choice
Linkin Park - Living Things
The 5th studio album released by Linkin Park. The album met expectation with the hype Burn It Down brought which I would say is their best single since Breaking the Habit, though New Divide is pretty good as well. Lost in the Echo opens up Living Things, and contains qualities that were heard previously in A Thousand Suns. The difference this time is they were able to put together a song that combines new school and old school thus marking a great start for the listener. Throughout this album you will find elements from each studio album now morphed into this latest edition by Linkin Park. Guitar is no longer a driving force by Linkin Park but instead they are turning to synthesizers, samples, and a lot of studio production. There are some very aggressive tracks that may divide people's opinions on whether these songs are very shitty or good. Castle of Glass can get stuck in your head fairly easily, following that you get some cool songs including one where Shinoda says, " Bang bang little monkey man playing with the big guns ." My Final thoughts are that this is their best studio album since Meteora and the quality of this studio production will be influential to a lot of artists that are of the same genre and possibly some that are not.

u didn't like Minutes 2 Midnite?
Please post the song you find to be best, that is not the single.
Please post the song that exemplified "studio production [that] will be influential to a lot of artists".
Somewhat curious but not enough to download the record. Thanks. First 2 records were awesome in middle school.
Klein - please use your analytical skills on Blink 182's Enema of the State. Specifically, please break down the lyrical poetry of the chorus, "Say it ain't so, I will not go, carry me home. Nuh na nuh na nuh na nuh na nuh nuh. Nuh na nuh na nuh na nuh na nuh nuh."
Bonus: Compare Enema of the State with Take Your Pants Off and Jacket.
I'd like to hear what you think of Visions by Grimes!

I recommend you do a listen/write-up of The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers
Amon Tobin - Bricolage
Got to love the electonic jazz combination Amon Tobin puts together in Bricolage. Most these songs are pretty groovy and I can picture myself in a number of places. I get images of being in a coffee shop but also other scenes of being in a cubicle at an office that leads to things spiraling out of control. Creatures is one song that stood out to me and I could see it being background music to a future nightmare I may have. Just lots going on and it kept me interested throughout the whole listen. I believe his music is suppose to make the listener feel like they are in the rainforest. This album is filled with lots of life and very well produced.
