If this lineup blows, I'll be festivaless for the year.

Just an ironic reference to the rain we were having I hope.

No idea, I figured someone else would install Snapchat and post the stuff to Facebook. but I went to post about the lineup and it looks like they've disabled wall posts at the moment. Maybe because of that reason. So I guess I'll have to install Snapchat then. Update- I have installed Snapchat so if they push anything out I'll post it here. I guess it's not possible on that app to view previous posts.

I'm pretty bummed about the format change but am still holding out hope for the lineup. I guess I always liked it as a good excuse to both see bands and check out a ton of different venues. Usually with VIP there was no wait for anything.

Damn. I was hoping for something impressive. I'd really only be interested in Man Man and Tune-Yards

Wow. If this is an indication of the new direction, it's utter shit. $50 presale isn't even worth buying.

Admittedly I don't know a lot of these bands but ... is this the kind of lineup that will be able to move 10,000 tickets at $85/each?

Someone on Reddit pointed out that Girl Talk and Antler both played Pioneer Square just a couple of years ago. Will people really be that excited to see them again so soon?

Think of it as $45-50 per day and it starts to make sense. Not that I'm going, even if it was in my town.

I agree. People are getting spoiled on festivals lately. $85 isn't that bad for Spoon, Tune-yards, Phantogram, Run the Jewels, etc. There are at least four bands per day worth seeing = $10/band basically.

Maybe I'm more excited about Spoon getting back together than the next guy, but this is not that bad of a lineup for the price. I would be happy to go to this if I still lived in Portland.

What even happened to this? I appreciated there being 100 bands over the course of 5 days playing small bars and such. So we are done with that now?

I might buy a 1 day ticket and go see Future Islands that's about it.
