I'm Clem, lil Australian girl :-)

So I am heading to the States by myself next year and Coachella is one of the the many experiences I wish to endure.......

I need tips, pointers, dos and don'ts....

- How to I purchase tickets now that pre-sales over?
- Where;s the best place to stay? camping?
- How do I get to and from the festival?
- Whens the best weekend to go? the first or the second?



Any red hot pointers and advice I need to know would be HUGELY appreciated???

In all honesty, unless you can get a ticket during the general sale in January (?), I wouldn't bother with the risk. If you lived in California or something, I could recommend looking local for a wristband the week before... but planning a huge trip like that on a gamble or risking getting scammed just doesn't seem worth it.

I'll be in the area anyways just for general travels so would be stoked to get a ticket but if it fell thru it wouldn't be a major disaster. So the general sale is only a few months before the actual festival then?

Right on, if you're just trying to add an awesome time to an already planned vacation, that's cool. There will be a general sale a few months before the fest, but it's gonna sell out in a heartbeat. Last year the presale was open for a week and didn't sell out. This year it was open for three hours and they shut it down (was supposed to be open for a week again I think). If you try your luck in the general sale, I wouldn't even bother wasting time trying to go for weekend one. If that fails, check these boards for people dumping passes. Good luck, hope it works out!
