Yep. Goddamnit.

If this process sends the vets to the black market, the festival is fucked.

I dunno, waking up to a view like that every morning plus great showers and bathrooms, and extremely close vicinity to the clubhouse and whatnot for just $850 a person is totally worth it to me. A/C would have definitely made it an undeniable deal though for sure.

Thought it was $2,000 for 2 people, with tickets included. We spent about $2,500 this year altogether (including a bike, keg, food, other alcohol, etc.) and if I'm going to be plopping down two grand before I even get to spending cash for inside the festival, gas, and food/alcohol in the tent, I don't want there to be any potential to be woken up early every morning 'cause it's fucking hot. I live in Arizona. I deal with intolerable temperatures enough to do whatever it takes to avoid it when I go on vacation.
Vets who missed pre-sale that stay at Lake El Dorado or Safari didn't miss a thing....850? 2-3 grand?! hell, I stretched $120 out thru all of week 2 this year & had the best coachella yet.
Anyone need tickets? I purchased two for each weekend, claim one or both for the weekend that I don't go. I'll know by December/January which week my spring break is and decide then, so if you don't want to hassle with the general sale I can guarantee you 1 or 2.
That's a lot of cash to drop on Coachella before even hitting the field. I usually spend around that much in an entire weekend. Plus who knows if the lineup will be worth it.
Wait until the lineup drops, and I bet some people will be willing to sell their tickets if they don't like it.
edit: I am sorry I said "drops" if Jen is reading this

If the legendary DP ends up on the line up, I will spend stupid amounts of money for a ticket if necessary (mainly if its their first show, having some doubts though)
Otherwise no show or record company hookup. Definitely want to explore some other festivals around the world after going to FantastiFest 2012
