2013 COACHELLA IS SOLD OUT!!!! BOTH WEEKENDS SOLD OUT!!!!

Every year they do the advance ticket sales for 3 days only... and then follow with regular tickets sales 3 or so months before the actual event. Why would anyone expect anything different? The only reason they do the pre-ticket sales is to offer the payment plan option. Not to mention the advance tickets ALWAYS SELL OUT FAST. The amount that will go on sale before the event does not change because of it. The reason they sell out is because there are only a limited avail for the pre-sale.

Ever heard of a little festival called Glastonbury? They put all their tickets up early in advance, and sell them all. They have ticket releases months later for people who cancelled their orderes. But a few hundred tickets is a drop in the bucket. Wait til next year, and GV will just put every single ticket up for sale, and there will be no general onsale to speak of in January of 2014.

Highly doubt it, especially if they keep doing layaways. All layaway tickets should be fully paid off in January when the general onsale will happen, allowing for any cancelled passes to be resold... like Glastonbury.

They have never done the presale for 3 days only. The payment plan is not the only reason they do it because they allow you to pay in full during the presale. And the reason people might expect something different is because this is the first time that both weeks presale has sold out.
