Last year's presale sold 68,000 passes, so I expected some increase in the number of presales, but damn!

But what if ALL of the tickets were advanced?

Alternatively, maybe they are only using that language to allow for later sale if and when extra tickets are free from declined cards/people purchasing more then 2 ticket per billing address ect.

It would be nice if GV clarified whether the same presale policy from last year (i.e. that all tickets went on sale for a week, and that whatever was left would go onsale in January) was used this year as well.

I'm pretty sure this was not the entire allotment...would all the tickets really have gone from not selling out for a week (last year) to completely selling out in a couple hours? With a new 2-ticket limit instated? I almost think they purposely released less tickets for the presale this year just to create publicity.

Some people will default on their payment plans so at least a few tickets have to go on sale in January.

I hope they change the way they release the lineup. They don't have to sell tickets, so why not dribble out acts here and there as they sign on, like Bestival does.
