I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

I found a Russian copy of a Paul McCartney vinyl at a record store for 99 cents...checked it online and it's worth about $40.

Hmmm...I don't have a record collection. I guess the most "prized" thing I have (or at least the most expensive, for me) is every single album and b-side and import Tori Amos ever put out. I bought most of them before internet downloading was readily available. So I'd end up paying like 100 bucks for some dude in Europe to ship an import b-side to me. And she'd always do tricky shit like that - put a special song on an import to one country only...

    Anyway - that's all I've got.

Only 200 of these were made, I found it at Amoeba for 8 bucks. The special thing is that only one side is cut, the other side is blank vinyl.

Honorable metions are the Pop is Dead and Creep cd singles original U.K. prints. I found them in mint condition for 8 bucks and they are worth 10 times that.

But if we wanna talk about like just stuff in my collection of things. Well Chris Martins' guitar wins over everything.

This is my most prized possesion. My custom made Adidas jacket, made just for the Beastie Boys while they were on tour for TT5B, not sold to the public. And I managed to get one from an insider...and I got it signed by Yauch and Money Mark last October...its priceless to me.

Naw, they didn't do that with Atomizer. That was Lungs. And then they pressed the first two hundred copies of the Bulldozer EP in a thick steel case. There was a copy of that on ebay going for 750 recently. I wanted it

It was just put in the regular vinyl section too. I dont think anyone there knew the value of it and I cant imagine the previous owner not thinking this wasnt rare.
