You mean asking people to be extras in a music video? I imagine you have never even watched a music video in your life, so this is all new to you.

I did some extra work for a MCR video a few years back, I felt awful for the fans there not getting paid $250 for the night.

They used all the hired paid folk for the people in the video and kept the extras in the back until they needed a crazy crowd scene. Those poor fans had to wait 6 hours in holding before anything happened for them, and by then it was 3am. Pretty sure its going to be the same thing, and you'll get a brown bag meal - prison sandwich, carrot sticks/celery and igloos full of water/nestea powdered ice tea.

Apparently they really need extras for this, seen several breakdowns today, get a friend who has an lacasting to refer you, get PAID.

All extras thru LAcasting have 125-150 pay, way better than just food.

Too bad there is a membership fee, so I guess i won't sign up. Making some money on this would be a nice bonus

10-15 a month and you can work on all the music videos for pretty much every major band
offspring had a shoot right around coachella
and david guetta wanted you to party rock it for some skrilla also, take a gander into if you're interested in some random part time work or have interest in sets

I have seen a music video and actually work in film/tv. They are asking for 2000 people to come to a venue. I know how long shoots usually are and how they usually work. They are asking people to volunteer and stay for a 10 hour shoot. I don't imagine they would make it boring if they actually want that many people to stay in one place. Something about the way deadmau5 was talking about it made it sound like they were going to do something different than a normal shoot. I could be wrong but we shall see. I probably won't even have the energy after Above & Beyond the night before to get out of bed.

I was in 1 music video. They played the song live 4 times in a 2 hour set and that was it. It was a basic concert for them except for the inclusion of the repeated song.
