Brother Ali & Jake One. Please.
Not a lot of hip hop speculation, so here's what I got.
I'm guessing Killer Mike and El-P are in with all the buzz they're getting.
NaS is a good look with the strong review on the last album.
I'm guessing Earl Sweatshirt and (most likely) the other guys will be up to their usual shenanigans, but I think Earl will be the only name listed.
Kid Cudi and Common are overdue at Coachella, so G.O.O.D. music may have a few artists, including 2Chainz as the hyped up rapper (i.e Wiz, A$AP, Lil B)
Lupe is vey likely with F&L 3 dropping soon and im guessing as a strong sub-headliner.
Other hopefuls with new/upcoming releases I'd like to see are:
Blu and Exile
Brother Ali
Talib Kweli
Dom Kennedy
Busta Rhymes
The Procussions (seriously overlooked)
Slaughterhouse
Others that may be there that I'd prefer to miss:
Meek Mill
Mac Miller
Wiz Khalifa
Machine Gun Kelly
Tyga
Big Sean
dare I even think about it...Lil Wayne (eww)
Probably others and we still have some time for some random rapper to blow up and get booked.
just heard that Tool are definitely not doing summer 2013 festivals in Europe, which means the record wont be out by then
if the record would come out anytime before May 2013, they would do June/July EU festivals
so pretty certain no Coachella in 2013

Tame Impala is very likely and I REALLY hope it happens. They're festival fiends.
HTDAToday's news is about my band How To Destroy Angels. I'm happy to announce we've formally partnered with Columbia Records for our next series of releases. The first of these will be available in November and it's called An Omen EP. As you may have guessed, it's an EP. It contains six songs, some of which are from our full-length LP which is coming early next year.
We are making some videos, we are going to be performing live, and that's all the details I have for now on those matters.
Regarding our decision to sign with Columbia, we've really spent a long time thinking about things and it makes sense for a lot of reasons, including a chance to work with our old friend Mark Williams. There's a much more granular and rambling answer I could give (and likely will in an interview someplace) but it really comes down to us experimenting and trying new things to see what best serves our needs. Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.
We are all very excited about you checking out the new stuff. Wish I could tell you more, but you know how this works... it would take all the fun out of it!
MEEK! so sophisticated

i promote regularly in Europe so when i post something here, its a direct source, either from agent or management
i have two tool t-shirts! yes!
so as far as i know at the moment; daft punk, tool and nine inch nails are all a NO for coachella 2013
what seems very very likely to me right now is Depeche Mode being one of the headliners
i dont know, i just think that GV is after them, the band has a history with Coachella, they attract that older crowd, very influential band, Paul loves the band etc
the new record is coming out soon, they are touring the States during March/April, and if that semi-fake touring route that leaked is something to judge by, they are in California and Mexico around Coachella weekends, with no LA date on the whole tour
i just think its very very possible now
Is this a direct source, either from agent or management?
If you've got hate in your heart, let it out.
So a semi-fake list of tour dates confirms a band?
Good to know....
wait what..... i agree w/ most of what u just said. But theres no way they make more money doing two HB shows than 2 headlining spots at Coachella..... do they....???
Coachella 07 (the introduction), 08 (the bands), 09 (the documentary), 10 (the people i came with), 11 (the relationship test... we passed), 12 (whatever the weather, Dirty Epic forever), 13 (taking the good with the bad)
- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
I guess it all depends on what they get paid. But three sold out shows in the LA area versus two festival appearances? I'd say they'd make more on their own.
In any case, what has been trickling in indicates to me that they're starting their tour in May somewere in Eastern Europe and touring through the beginning of 2014. I assume they'll come to the states in the fall.
