Pet Shop Boys announced that they have a new album coming out in September. That would be a fun addition!
Pet Shop Boys need to happen.
Yes, please to Pet Shop Boys. Saw some of their performance at Glasto and it was quite nice. Plus, they are part of a shorter and shorter list of performers who have never made the trip to Indio...
im surprised Garbage hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet. I would put money on them being there next year.
May 22 - Arctic Monkeys @ Ventura Theatre
June 9 - Devo/Gza @ LANHM
June 19 - Zavala @ Soho
July 31 - Flaming Lips @ Pacific Amp.
August 24,25 - FYF fest - State Historic Park

Sept. 12 -GY!BE @ the Fonda

Garbage would be awesome, but this, plus No Doubt's recent album announcement, and you'll have 2/3 of the last major No Doubt tour from what? 2003?
I've got a feeling (as I"m sure many already have) that No Doubt as a headliner of one of the days is going happen, unless proven otherwise. It's just too much of a can't-lose pick for GV.

dinosaur jr new album
please let this be the year gv please.
I remember seeing Dinosaur Jr. a few years back at the Troubabdour. I couldn't hear for a week. Their being there would definitely be a necessity.

David Bryne and St. Vincent closing out the Outdoor would be sweet but looks like they are already going on tour.
I don't think late fall tour dates exclude them. I hope they are there.
The Rolling Stones - International Noise Conference: Los Angeles - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Austra - Colin Stetson - The Pacific Rim Projekt - The National - Goat Rodeo - Hopscotch 2013- GY!BE - Beirut/Vampire Weekend
St. Vincent just played.
St. Vincent w/ David Byrne is completely different.

- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
I agree, I was boreddd. I remember having to take a boo boo during dem.
Elton John's new album is being released in February 2013 for promotional reasons....if Paul can play coachella Elton can too. I've seen him in Vegas and hes amazing
I would be 100% cool with Elton playing.
Elton John is gay?????
I have seen Elton live and really enjoyed him, but he's not a good fit to headline Coachella. He doesn't put the kind of energy into the performance that Paul does and he doesn't bring the visual spectical of Roger Waters. He would cost too much to book without being the headliner.
Does he even do festivals?
