I'm with you algunz. Something feels wrong about this whole thing, even if the guy turned out to be a crazy crusader against internet bullies and elitism. It seems his schtick is to disrupt communities. But I guess that's reality now with everyone voluntarily choosing to put their lives on the internet where it is very easy to trace with little effort, as seen here. I guess the lesson learned here for me is to be very conscience of my internet footprint (can you call it that?).
