yeah australia. should have mentioned that and the year. still i think the general ranking will be fairly close. a few festivals may change places based on price increases and current conversion rates for the $AU( although it was pretty much equal to the $US as of this winter buthavent checked at all this year).
Compared to Slendour and Falls the cost of a Coachella ticket is a bargain. Now I know why the Australians that attend Coachella are always extremely friendly and happy to be there.

Looking at the spreadsheet posted above makes me ask if Australian Festivals are expensive because the must throw money at headliners to get them down under.
I've seen articles were promoters complain about acts that won't come no matter what is offered. They actually whined about not booking Blink 182 because Travis still won't go near an airplane(does he actually boat the Atlantic to play euro Fests?)
After coachella, i get this sad feeling like, "oh, that was so much fun, and now it's over." Today, i feel that about this thread.
the thread was over once it was determined prices went up $13/$29 and that it was really a pretty insignificant amount.
proud like a mother is proud of her autistic kid when he learns to post on a message board?
or proud like when you watch a video of a trainwreck 6 months after it happens?
