Louisiana Hot Sauce is the correct answer. Tabasco wins out of these choices though. PS, I love hot sauce, and enjoy many kinds, but think Tapatio and Cholula taste like shit.

The best commercial sauce is undoubtedly Red Devil. I love to mix a little ranch in with it or minced garlic to make killer hot garlic wings.

I use their wing sauce here and there. It has a nice creamy thickness that these other hot sauces can't provide.

Also, if I recall both Red Rooster and Louisiana Hot Sauce are the same, just different names. Both made by Bruce Foods, both same recipes. I could be misstaken though.

EDIT: I have a call into Bruce Foods' customer service to verify. Apparently 2 of the people I spoke to didn't believe there was a difference but the hot sauce meister is busy at the moment.

Also, I'd like to add that Cholula has a chipotle version of their sauce is also marvelous, but unfortunately does not come Costco-sized.

I bought my first bottle of the Chipotle a few days ago. It's amazing and now almost gone.

Tabasco is mostly just vinegar. Cholula has a much more interesting and complex flavor.

I eat hot sauce almost every day and Tabasco would be at the bottom of almost any of my preference orderings.

I would rather just use hot sauce packets from taco bell and Del Taco than Tobasco. And yeah i use hot sauce nearly every day as well. I put cholula on everything. It mixes really well into my meat marinades as well.

I always use chipotle powder or chipotle Tabasco when seasoning the burgers. Will have to try it with Cholula.
