I was thinking about renting an RV and coming down from la to idio... What are some things I might wanna know that would be different from just attending. I haven't camped on site before and it seemed like a good time.

only rv lot on site is backstage...and it is glorious, but not for sale to the general public. only for staff, bands, and friends of goldenvoice.
there are plenty of rv resorts in the area that you can stay at, though, but with the cost of an rv rental and a spot at the resort you are probably better off just staying in a hotel.

Wow thanks for the info! Definitely saved me a lot of time.
just car camp and read the threads in here that tell you the best ways to be prepared and that will be your best value and the most fun you will have by far
Having an RV at Chella would literally be a dream come true for me.
but RVs caused the traffic nightmare of 2010
Doubt that's the reason. They seem to handle it for Stagecoach just fine. Its more like the age bracket of the attendees is predominantly lower, there fore, lower budget and not owning an RV, vs. the jarheads and drunken rednecks that go to Stagecoach who are older and may be more likely to have Rv's.
the charge about 750$ for RV's at stagecoach...not sure it would be worth it to me.
I think I can handle sleeping in a tent once a year, vs. paying 750 for hauling my rig in...
All that said, if they made it 350 like it was a few years back, then I would be down for sure....I can fit like 8 heads in my trailer with no sweat.
Anyone else shudder at the thought of RV's at Coachella? Just me? Oh, okay.
i just purchased my ticket and i know it's still a year away but oh my gosh i am so freaken excited i'm pissing glitter. :O najahed
