Can't help but notice that being actually a possibility did not enter into the list creation... Guess I should have paid attention in round 1. At least there are no dead people on the list, as far as I know.

Of the acts that I voted for, I'd probably flip the most for Tom Waits, Nick Cave or Boredoms.

But Joanna Newsom and Husker Du really should be the choices. And that Smashing Pumpkins warning isn't really apt, considering the fact that the Replacements will never get back together with the original lineup, and that Television's OG lineup is retired (which pretty much means Television is retired as well.)

The offspring were the first real "alternative" band I ever got into in 6th grade. Ive seen them a bunch since. I'd be totally down for them to make a trip out to the desert. I'm not the biggest fan of their new stuff, but the Smash / Ixnay on the Hombre stuff I think would kill in a festival setting.
