My friends and I were talking last night about going to this, and now I see Missy and Timbaland are no longer on the lineup? That's weak. That honestly diminishes a lot of the excitement I had for this show.

Also, Ice Cube doesn't play the SoCal date and Too $hort/E-40 don't play the NorCal date? What? Not that I have a dog in the fight as I don't think I'd check out either, but it's kind of funny.

I was checking into tix for the Shoreline show and saw that only 2-day tix are available. Do they spread the acts out over the 2 days or is it the same lineup both days like Lolla was when it was a tour?

Probably more 2nd tier rappers like in the same vein of Big Sean, J Cole, Curren$y which would make those fans happy until they get there and get a 35 minute set at 4:10PM. But no headliners or rare acts. I pray I'm wrong tho.

I dunno, that Chang guy said on some interview that "when the time is right they would announce an act that would make people want to buy tickets that hadn't yet and would be an act that may never be seen again" I'm not sure how to attch a YouTube video while on my IPad, but it's out there. I was thinking the fugees but it looks like lauren hills going to be locked up...

I wouldn't even want to see The Fugees at this point. I can't imagine any act we'd see now but never see again unless they mean all the members of Bone Thugs. If it's Outkast, DF, Dre & Snoop, Missy & Timbo, The Throne I will buy my tickets ASAP. I can't think of anyone else tho.

Notable misses: Meth + Red, Common

Sunday:
Dom Kennedy--> Ab-Soul--> Big Daddy Kane--> Schoolboy Q---> Murs + Fashawn --> The Hit Squad---> Deltron 3030/Bone Thugs (Fuck this conflict would sucks)--> E40/Too Short----> Ice Cube

Notable misses: Nas, DJ Quik (IF I pick Bone Thugs over Deltron)

Of course the set times will overlap so this means nothing but it does give me an idea. Still not sure if this is worth 200. I would drop 100 for Saturday but not Sunday

Question: For the Shoreline show, where is the Paid Dues/36 Chambers Stage? Does everyone have equal access to it or are there pre-set limitations per Lower Bowl v. Upper Bowl v. Lawn tickets? The whole Shoreline lawn thing sounded kind of shitty (never been to the venue but have heard mostly bad things), but I'd be able to justify it if I could actually get close to Deltron and Wu.

Everyone with a ticket has equal access to the Paid Dues/36 Chambers stages. Paid Dues/36 Chambers stage will probably be in the gated off lot, right at the entrance of the venue. Lawn tickets are well worth it, considering it's a 2 day festival this year and if you plan staying at the Paid Dues/36 Chambers stages all day.
