Default Post Rock Experimental Ambient music festivals in the US

Are there any festivals like All Tomorrow's Parties in the US?
I know of more indi festivals like Noise Pop in SF, but that's all I can find online.

    Thanks for the help!

Its primarily all electronic & I don't know if its still happens yearly or not but "BENT" circuit bending festival is definitely ambient. It takes place in Brooklyn. There is a good documentary on Bent called Bent 2004.You might also check out Bitchpork the underground of Chicago's answer to Pitchfork that usually takes place on the same weekend.

    Wow, thank you!

Looks like I missed out on Bent and No Fun Fest but Neon Marshmallow looks cool.

Not strictly post rock/ambient, but these tend to dabble with those acts and ATP-friendly acts:

    Decibel - Seattle, WA - Sept 2012: http://www.dbfestival.com/festival/d...-2011-artists/
Fun Fun Fun Fest - Austin, TX - Nov 2012: http://funfunfunfest.com/
On Land by Root Strata - San Francisco, CA - usually in Sept, but I don't know if they're doing it this year: http://onlandfestival.com/
    *based upon tedious fact checking.

ATP NJ last year was a blast. They are the best run festivals with the best crowds. I will travel east every year that I can for ATP.

    Options that I know of:

    Decibal - Seattle
    Mutek - Canada
Neon Marshmallow - Chicago / NYC / Detroit
    Unsound - NYC / Poland
Voice of the Valley - West Virginia

I went to some of Unsound this year and was the worst I have seen so far from them. No Neon Marshmallow hasn't been announced, except for that party they are doing in Detroit. The NYC version of the fest ruled.

I would not reccommend Bitchpork to anyone. The music is usually shit, with an occasional alright band. Mostly a really gritty punk party.
