Ben Gibbard = suprefan!?

Newly a SF resident. Show me the ropes!
Black Keys just announced West Coast dates with no SF date. Potential Saturday headliner? These guys really need to stop touring for a bit, Coachella and already coming through the SF just earlier this month seems like a bit much to me.
10/01 – Fresno, CA @ Save Mart Center %
10/02 – Santa Barbara, CA @ Santa Barbara Bowl %
10/04 – San Diego, CA @ Valley View Casino Center %
10/05 – Los Angeles, CA @ Staples Center %
10/08 – Anaheim, CA @ Honda Center %
10/09 – Phoenix, AZ @ US Air Arena %
10/10 – Las Cruses, NM @ Pan American Center %
10/21 – Newcastle, AU @ Newcastle Entertainment Centre
Them being there would be very, very unlikely. Unless they booked them before they were booked at Coachella, they are most surely now priced too far out of TI's budget.
Just throwing it out there: Green Day for Sunday? Potential launch show behind the first of the three album project slated to come out 9/25, 11/13 and 1/15/13. I'd think them too big, but after they stepped in at NSSN, who knows? It is their home turf.

I would say they are too expensive also.
SMD seems like a TI act. Will their new album do well enough to bring them back to the states with their live show in the fall?
First Aid Kit @ The Fillmore on 10/16 ... guessing this rules them out but not sure if/how TI uses radius clauses.
John Talabot @ Public Works on 10/6 ... almost certainly rules him out
When do tickets go on sale usually?
This is ACL 2012
So we get none of these I assume. Who else is left?
Perfect. Orbital, SMD live, Grimes, Chromatics, Shit Robot, Blondes, all still in play
Silversun Pickups, Naked and Famous, Foster the People, and Grouplove still in play as well. Modest Mouse could play as well.

cause modest mouse is somebody the kids will totally go and see.
Justice for Saturday? Calvin Harris? Sunday is hard to say...
Totally forgot about Justice doing Outsidelands. And yeah I'm not a big Calvin Harris fan, just seems popular and he would likely fit.
Avicci. My Levels need to be checked.
Think he's playing SF sometime later this summer. Let's hope that rules him out.
I have my fingers crossed for zero DJ's. A solid live act, or two, is welcome.
Posted in monklish comments (yeah, I know ... just thought it was an interesting if overly optimistic stab at the lineup)
The XX, Metric, The Weeknd, Simian Mobile Disco, Frank Ocean, Feed Me, Neon Indian, Beats Antique, The Field, Chromatics, TOKiMONSTA
Bon Iver, Tune-Yards, Afghan Whigs, of Montreal, Junip, The Tallest Man on Earth, Grimes, First Aid Kit, Dum Dum Girls, Kurt Vile, School of Seven Bells
I'd be happy w/ 1/2 of that.

I would go to the first day of that.
I would be very happy with that lineup.
that looks legit, especially XX headlining

Listening to youtube rips of the new XX songs, they don't fit the profile of a Sat headliner. Jamie xx hinted that the newe album would be more energetic, but I'm not hearing it on current evidence. Could be way off of course. Would like to see them there, but agree that they may make a strange choice for closing out the first day.
