Black Keys just announced West Coast dates with no SF date. Potential Saturday headliner? These guys really need to stop touring for a bit, Coachella and already coming through the SF just earlier this month seems like a bit much to me.

Just throwing it out there: Green Day for Sunday? Potential launch show behind the first of the three album project slated to come out 9/25, 11/13 and 1/15/13. I'd think them too big, but after they stepped in at NSSN, who knows? It is their home turf.

and are still super popular with the kids.

But they aren't going to play it. This festival doesn't need to recycle headliners already.

Justice is doubtful on account of them playing Outside Lands. Calvin Harris would be a massive disappointment and somewhat out of character for the festival. Outside of Girl Talk a few years back, TI has never opted for out and out trash on the DJ front. Deadmau5 is guff but he isn't Girl Talk / Calvin Harris sort of guff.

If TI manages to snag Grimes, Chromatics, School of Seven Bells and THE FIELD I will be ecstatic.

Listening to youtube rips of the new XX songs, they don't fit the profile of a Sat headliner. Jamie xx hinted that the newe album would be more energetic, but I'm not hearing it on current evidence. Could be way off of course. Would like to see them there, but agree that they may make a strange choice for closing out the first day.
