It is. And even when it was Billy with the original bunch, it wasn't a great show. Like nosurprises said, it's sad how people would rather see Billy and the latest crop of musical day laborers than REM, Neil Young, Sufjan Stevens, Nick Cave, etc. Speaking of shameful matters, who voted for Justin Timberlake, UB40, Fine Young Cannibals, Adele, Britney? I thought at least Swans and maybe Lush would end up making the top 50.

Wow, people have differing tastes? This is weird. Never thought it would come out in a poll like this.

Shame hardly anyone voted for Ray Davies. The Kinks are one of the greatest bands in rock and roll history.

I regret missing him at Glastonbury. That set looked like a lot of fun.

No kidding. He's aged rather well too. His voice still sounds great:

Is there just a 0% chance of GV ever booking someone like Slayer? Say...to play a similar slot that Refused got this year? Maybe even a Kasabian-type of spot?

I'm not even that into Slayer but I think seeing a band like them at Coachella would be pretty fucking sweet. I know they don't do much metal, if any, but I think they'd be a relatively decent draw.

I would love to see Slayer at Coachella, only because I would never pay to see them otherwise. Same goes for Korn....... and maybe, A7x

Want to make it clear I am not big on any of these people, but I would enjoy seeing a high profile metal act just for shits and giggles.
    G-funk acquired, thank you Coachella

the words korn/a7x and high profile should never be in the same sentence

The problem with a band like Slayer is that they're just too big get the right time slot at a fest like Coachella and no right to headline or sub-headline. the audience isn't there to support them. Plus, there's plenty of big mainstream metal festivals that Slayer will fit into.

Adore the Magnetic Fields too, but can't picture them at Coachella either. I must see them some day though.

I would flip out if the Violent Femmes play in 2013 and of course, if David Bowie's name appeared, I'd probably faint. I feel like I'll never get to see him live

I'm not really sure if Massive Attack should come back. How can they top touring with Liz Fraser? Unless they get her again.

Boards of Canada not being in the top 20 is a complete travesty. They should be in the top 5.
