It's because (believe it or not) it's actually centered around a bowling tournament. The festival is a reason to make some bucks since there's a bunch of talent all in one place. But it's really about the bowling. There's nothing better than seeing 200 punkers converging on a Las Vegas Casino bowling alley to see Fat Mike bowl a 130.
Yea!!
Talking heads! Public enemy, tom petty, screaming females, drive by truckers, the long black veils
After reading today that Pearl Jam is wrapping up a new album, I figure we can expect them to headline Coachella next year.
ATMOSHPERE
1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
I would love to see Blur play next year at Coachella. Although they played in 2003, this was when Graham Coxon wasn't a member. To have the original lineup play again in the U.S. would be awesome.
Is it too soon to ask for Massive Attack again?
2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012b, 2013a
Anyone save pics of this douche? His photo bucket now needs a password....
Bring the Pure Filth bass dome back. That's all I ask. 2012 was severely lacking quality UK bass acts.
Lots of mediocrity is the new awesome.
Would some metal be too much to ask for? Hipsters like metal now, right? Is metal cool in LA? Let's do this thing you fucking pansies.
Boards of Canada
Avalanches
