i tried so hard to like it since it was the closing sahara set. i should have given up earlier than i did as it just felt like it was going nowhere. once i got to dre i realized what a mistake i made and i shoulda just got my gangsta on from the beginning. oh well, always next weekend

oh and hearing "save the world" for about the 10th time that weekend was less than thrilling

Boring. I saw him when he played before deadmau5 in San Diego and it was boring then. I went to check him out after Florence because at that point only Main and Sahara were still going and I'm not a huge hip hop fan. All you need is 10 minutes of Avicii and you're good - same sound the entire time. Not too sure what time he ended because I left to see Dre and Snoop anyway, haha.

Dre and Snoop are legends. I get that. And ... I never liked their shit. My hiphop tastes are fairly narrow, and anything outside of that just leaves me cold.

I went to Avicii after Modeselektor (btw Modeselektor was my absolute FAVORITE set of the weekend) and I loved that it was pretty empty. I'm not a fan of rap so i had no interest in seeing dre or snoop. I loved having room to dance. I was able to go with all my friends to the very front and dance. I prefer smaller crowds and everybody seemed like they were having a great time.

Stay far away from Avicii and go to Dre and Snoop, it was the worst EDM set ive ever seen and i only saw 3 songs, he played babylon by congorock in its entirity and by that i mean he let it play out through the flat beat part where your supposed to mix at the last resort until the song stopped then he did one of gay little woosh things then went into another crappy song. this kid is a one hit wonder and after his le7els tour he will be donezo
