I hate how true that statement is. Eric Prydz has been in the game so long, and is an absolute legend but gets hardly any recognition in the states, while cheeseheads SHM are selling out MSG and closing as Coachella headliners..... uggghhhh

As a huge fan of a lot of his production I hate to inform you all that his set at the palladium was not really that good. It had it's moments but there was TONS of cheesy shit in there. IF he gets booked as cirez D(his dark techno moniker) then it might be better. His mixing was decent and track selection was fairly uninspiring.

It would be great to see a Cirez D set, but as far as I know, I don't think he ever gets billed under that moniker.

This is just me thinking out loud, but does anyone else thing Prydz's novelty is going to wear off fast once he moves to the States? Especially if he starts up a residency in Vegas or something, I just think much of the reason why people in the US are so obsessed with seeing him is because he rarely shows up on lineups due to his fear of flying. He's a fantastic producer and a really great DJ, but I still think a lot of his draw is due to his somewhat rare appearances, and once he moves to the US, that factor is gone.

And I don't think it will significantly matter once the novelty is gone, he's still one of the best DJs in the business. His mountain view identity set was better than the palladium set although I definitely enjoyed both.

And I was at the Mountain View set too, it was pretty incredible. Hated being around a bunch of 16 year olds though.

Still a great song. Ive heard a number of other DJs drop it before so if you go to enough dance parties or see DJs, youre not really missing out.

I saw him at identity.over the summer
Was my favorite live set of the year. He takes you on a journey. I had tickets to see him in nyc for turkey day but got sick. Really hoping he comes to the polo grounds
