Peter's pulled off plenty of festival dates. He is one of my all time fave artists and I'm sure he could fill a slot at Coachella. But ya know, I'll go ahead and aim higher-

Honestly, I prefer Genesis without Peter Gabriel and Peter Gabriel without Genesis but I think only Peter Gabriel is the right fit to perform at Coachella. It's actually kinda weird that they were ever in the same band to me. The rest of that list is stellar even if it 3 absolute long shots (TH, PF, DB).

I agree with you there. I love PG's solo stuff better than any PG or non-PG Genesis. But it'd still be a big event so I threw it on the list. I think New Blood Orchestra would work well on the Outdoor. But much as I enjoyed that tour, it'd be nice to see Tony Levin in action again.

Does Third Eye Blind have any place here? Probably not, but there's been worse bands that have played (Neon Trees?) I've seen them before so I don't care really but I wouldn't mind seeing them on the bottom half of the lineup. If all you know are the radio singles or the first album, your opinion is void.

I saw them at a local fest last year and it was a really boring show. The band left after the second song for a Stephan acoustic set that lasted way too long and killed all the energy. By the time everyone came back on stage, everyone had tuned out and they didn't recover.

bummer, since I really liked them.
