We're going to need affidavits from every attendee that left because of the rain and not because of their utter disgust at Pearl Jam being slotted as a headliner.

And yeah, it rained hard almost all goddamn day. The 'grass' was pretty much pure mud and the entire field stank of stewed sewerwater. Lolla is a nightmare.
But there was still a sizeable crowd there. I like that Bumblebee thinks that he knows the attendance of each Lolla headliner by using youtube videos as proof.

In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that anyone who thinks that a band like Depeche Mode is a better headliner than Pearl Jam is batshit fucking crazy.*

Obviously Pearl Jam can outdraw Depeche Mode nationally in the US. In California it's actually a toss up. Depeche trumps Pearl Jam in Europe.

It rained for Foo Fighters at Lolla too. Double the crowd than Depeche. Am I supposed to believe 20-30,000 people don't like soggy clothes and simply went home hours early because you said so?

Actually my proof is extensive reading on the Lolla board combined with photos and video. What is better evidence? I've been presenting with NOTHING tangible to counter my point.

Has anyone else noticed that The Killers play a Hollywood show 9/26 before heading to the UK and then coming back for some more U.S. tour dates? I would prefer The Killers over No Doubt 100% and possibly over Green Day.

I mean Green Day is awesome as long as they stick to their older material (they probably won't) but I don't see them fitting in with the Coachella image too well.

That may be true but keep in mind they were going to book Black Sabbath until health complications had them replaced (some say with Snoop; others with Black Keys). And Black Sabbath seems even more obscure to a younger generation than Pearl Jam who still get a lot of radio play on rock radio (Daughter, Better Man etc.). If PJ headlines they will counter program with something that appeals to the dance crowd in all three tents, maybe even have the Outdoor overlap a bit like they did with Black Keys and KOL.

I totally agree with this. I don't see Pearl Jam being out of the question, whatsoever.
