Daft WILL not play ANYWHERE until the release a new album. If they release a new album in the next 6 months then we've got a shot. But if not, dont even waste your breath.

They've headlined twice already and would draw a big crowd. I am not a fan of RHCP like I was 10-15 years ago but to think Coachella loses credibility if RHCP headlines in 2013 is a bit dumb.

If you're gonna have somebody headline your festival 3 times, it better be a band that's at least a bit above average and not one that just headlined another big festival the year before. RHCP would be a joke.

Thursday Night: Pearl Jam (to kick of 20th anniversary of Polo Fields being used for concerts)
Friday Night: Daft Punk
Saturday Night: No Doubt
Sunday Night: Outkast

Reading through here it definitely sounds like I'm NOT in the minority on who I think the headliner favorites are:

Fr: Tool
Sa: Daft Punk
Su: Pearl Jam

Menik, I hope you really hate Tool and that's the band you are not excited about because I would love to see Tool and I think they'd be a fine first 3-time headliner. But there are obviously soooo many possibilities right now that it's almost ludicrous to start thinking about it. The past few years I've seen one headliner and I'd like for there to be one headliner next year I want to see.

Acts I really hope don't headline next year:

Gaga
Green Day (more than anyone....and it seems like a real possibility...sigh)
Foo Fighters
Springsteen (could live with it but I personally can't stand him)
Eminem
