Anyone know if Prydz has been playing Call On Me at these shows?
So im going to this tomorrow. I want to see the hype.
"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."
How was Prydz?
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
His cheese doesnt stink as bad as some.... Totally undeserving of any hype.

Anyone know why some cities he is getting a 75min set and others like NY he was give 135?
If you love the Swedes, Kaskade and Armin you will love Prydz. I was hoping that he was somehow above their level, but that was foolish because he does the exact same thing with a slightly less obnoxious tech house beat.
BTW the scene at Identity is a total shitshow. I dunno about the west coast but the Bath Salt issue has gotten out of control out here. You have 17 year olds snorting grams of white powder that is everything but MDMA and then going into a hyper delusional manic state that promotes them to mosh all over people trying to just chill and dance and have a good time. 2 people died at the event in Boston.

Its gotten 10x worse in a year buddy. People are selling "moonrocks" at verboten events in nyc. Dancesafe is making a billion dollars on tests kits cause people are scared for their safety, not worried about losing 60 bucks to fake shit.

gotta disagree with the top. maybe his set was too short wherever you saw him, but in la he was a ride through a lot of deep progressive house into dark techier stuff and back again. I am really looking forward to seeing him a second time. I was completely lost in the music (and completely sober) and that doesn't happen with armin or the swedes.
In LA there were lots of moments when he would be mixing 3 songs together, I really enjoyed that and it's not something the other house guys do that often. He also played pretty progressively, which I think is dependent on the length of his set - he definitely played some songs out for >10 minutes.
This is really weird. VA had more acts and less time [http://idfestival.com/tour-dates/bristow/], and Philly had really long setup times between acts for no reason [http://idfestival.com/tour-dates/philadelphia/]. I hope I get another >2 hour set... but NY was the only place so far to not get a 75 minute set.
Seitron i agree that he is way better than most of your other big name house headliners these days.

Set times are out for Mountain View. Too bad Prydz doesn't have a longer set.

Has anyone caught one of Prydz' sets at an Identity yet? How have they been?
Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
2011 Perfectchella.
it was alright. like others said, the crowd is expectedly horrific. i caught him in Austin the night before identity in dallas and he was 1000x better. they gave him over 2 hours at the venue vs. the 75 he had at identity.
