There, I said it.
And this time make sure the Chems play their ENTIRE set including Private Psychedelic Reel
And give Underworld the main stage!

2013 is the year of dart punk, duhhh.
^lol?
There are only a handful of EDM acts that can headline the mainstage currently and Underworld isn't one of them.

GV will give us Skrillex on main 2013.
Then the execs will have a money fight with chimps in business suits who applaud their antics with subtle golf claps
I fully support Underworld for 2013 and while I'm always in for the Chems I don't think they should be back so soon.
I'd more like to see Underworld, Groove Armada, Soulwax, Moby, The Presets, Orbital and Daft Punk, among others.
It's just that the Chems play coachella a lot.

like it or not deadmau5 is probably the most likely candidate to headline the main stage next year.
| May 22 - Paul McCartney | May 24 - Black Flag | May 25 - Soundgarden | May 31 - Baroness | June 1 - Andy Stott | June 10 - Dragonette | June 22 - Tricky | July 27 - Black Sabbath | August 2 - Rob Zombie/Mastodon |August 15 - Queens of the Stone Age | October 4-6 - ACL |
The Prodigy/Underworld/Daft Punk for 2013 would be impossible to top! If only....i guarantee 2013 will look more like Justice/Armin Van Buuren/Major Lazer or some shit.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
Knife Party is inevitable with a live show. Definitely a big trance name, hopefully and only Above and Beyond.
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
How about a reunion of Tom's old group Ariel?
Chemical Brothers do play a lot.. but they are kind of like Perry Ferrell... Besides they played a lot of Coachella more the EARLY years.. They played in a live set in 2011, but the last live set before that was in 2005. 2009 was just a DJ year, and that doesn't really count.
I'm always down for Chemical Brothers/Daft Punk/Underworld/Basement Jaxx/Faithless/Prodigy/Groove Armada
Cassius really needs to play Coachella.. They are so fun live.
P.S. Witham - I love your sig line-up... Pretty much how I would want Coachella.
OUTKAST 2014
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, The Knife, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Tycho, Mr. Scruff
thanks, I wish I could put more characters up cause I'd definitely see 808 state among other people you have listed.

Anyone else think that Underworld would be a Mojave act now? We discussed this a lot during Week1 and I don't think we will see an instrument in the Sahara for quite some time.
Underworld would be the sacrificial lamb act in the Sahara while some huge EDM act is on the main (see datsik or 2ManyDJs) or they would play Mojave or Outdoor. I'm fine with all those options.
I'm a huge Chemical Brothers fan but I would rather get someone else until the Brothers switch up their live show. I'm super down for another DJ set though!
outdoor stage would feel weird seeing them there.

I feel like the outdoor stage kills DJ sets. It felt perfect for Andrew Bird and Tune Yards, but didn't suit Miike Snow well at all.
underworld are not djs you idiot.
Todays coachella crowd would just stand around bobbing their heads to Underworld on the mainstage, especially if they were before the headliner.
Fuck that. Put them in the Sahara or the Mojave.
Underworld should go in the Mojave, if they were to play. There will be a lot of talent available next year, I think, but I don't see the Chems getting invited back so soon, even though we did get jacked when they didn't get to play a full set. So Groove Armada and Basement Jaxx (NOT DJ SETS) would be a good call. I do expect Daft to be there but I've expected that for the last couple of years.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world.
Coachella: 08, 09, 10, 11, 12w1, 12w2, 13w1
Lollapalooza: 08,10,11,12
Burning Man: 08,10
The Presets played in 2009 and again in 2011. The again Hot Chip played 3 years in a row and Cut Copy several times within 4-5 years, IIRC.

The Chemical Brothers just played. Let's give someone else a chance, hmm?
