The not-so-good news: Food and drink prices?

Hi -- first timey nerd questions, sorry:
I assume all the food and drink places are cash only? Do the ATMs charge a frightening amount?
And just a ballpark idea of costs... beers are about how much? Cocktails? Piece of pizza? Food truck treats, etc..? POUTINE (which I am way too excited for)

Food prices at Coachella are most certainly not ridiculous $$... unless they've dramatically raised since I've been going.

Put a couple granola bars in your pocket if you're that concerned.

Other than that. Expect to pay about $10 for some food. What is it, $8 beers now? Close enough. Don't waste money on non-alcoholic beverages. Drink water if you're thirsty.

I generally enjoy one polo field meal a day to stave off hunger and extreme drunkenness. Don't starve yourself to save $10.

Make sure you go to the ATM early and get out as much cash as you can for the whole weekend. Last time I had to drive all over Indio on Sunday looking for an ATM that still had cash in it.

everything was reasonably priced. I got a huge fucking turkey sandwich with avo and bacon and cheese for $8.

$7 for an ultimate taco from the Lime Truck in the campground. Pricy and not incredibly filling but extrememly tasty. A luxurious snack.

Spicy pie has $7 slices but these are enormous slices and make a decent meal all by themselves.

I snuck in snack bars every day and brought a water bottle. Don't think I spent a penny onsite the entire weekend beyond the ATDI Vinyl release.

A guard did find one of my bars, called over the security advisor and let me keep it anyways.

BTW, I wore shoes through security and had sandals in my locker.

and did not care. But made me pour out my water.

Dont get the Churros - mine was so bad I took it back and the replacement was just as bad.

The huge pie shaped cookie at the pizza place is yummy and $4

bring cash and don't use the atms.

beers are on the order of $9. this year they have $11 vodka cocktails which, last week at least, got you more than a shot in each. pizza is $7/slice. the best food i had was the soba noodles from the place at the corner of the 'L' in the main food area. the worst food i had was a spinach+tomato crepe; if you go to the crepe place, stick to the dessert crepes.
