Palm Springs to Coachella

So, because I'm not from USA and it's my first time going to Coachella, I wasn't too aware of the fact that shuttles don't actually go to Palm Springs. Camping spots were all gone so I went ahead and booked a hotel in Palm Springs, thinking shuttles go there. Unfortunately, they do not. So I was wondering if the only way of getting to and from Coachella each day was via car or taxi?

I may be able to get a lift off friends, but I'm not 100% sure.

anything with wheels should get you there, shoes work too but take a little more effort. good luck!

I just cancelled my hotel and received a full refund. Will be camping.
