yeah i haven't been there in awhile. shouldn't be so quick to namecheck i guess. is east colfax still dangerously vacant though? i remember king soopers and pawn shops and shady looking bus stops but that's about it.

the times article about the other one in NYC said that is what happened ... but it is the 2nd anniversary of the one here , so who knows ... i know i would hate to put the title of my house up for colateral sp ... think we might go there this weekend, just to help them out ... cr****

Hahahahah yeah way down east colfax (Aurora) Havana & Colfax, its still kinda like that. Its really weird how much shit changes. It used to be a predominant black and asian neighborhood. Now its Juarez. I went to check out a new Latin grocery store that just opened up in the old king soopers area, It was written up in the WSJ about being one of the largest latin shoping stores in the nation or some BS......When I got there....Holy shit, I seriously felt like I was in Mexico or atleast south of the border...People everywhere, I saw three guys working on their truck drinking and one guy pissing out in the open behind the truck. Bootleg cds and DVD's being sold out vans, and churro and ice cream carts on the outskirts of the parking lot.When I went into the market they had every single animal part for sale from pigs dicks to bull snouts. It was pretty cool. Colfax is a great street/ave/highway, Colfax is one of the most unique things about Colorado.
