Radiohead because Arcade Fire sucks.
Oh I couldn't have missed the beginning of their set. 2 of my faves (Rebellion/No Cars) were right up front. Funny how in 07 they closed with those.
I have to go with Radiohead. They're just so freakin' mesmerizing to watch. Granted I like the Glendale show better but in both cases I wish the shows had gone on 2 hrs more where with Arcade Fire I was just kind of waiting for the end (Balls notwithstanding)
5/15: THE WALL, Phoenix
5/19: Spiritualized, Crescent Ballroom
6/2: Mogwai, Music Box LA
6/19 Jesus and Mary Chain, House of Blues, VEGAS
Hey where can I watch/download the Radiohead webcast from last weekend?
Radiohead was amazing, but it felt like just another tour stop. I'll never forget dancing and singing under the canopy of blinking lights during Arcade Fire. It was a once in a lifetime set.
Arcade Fire
ARCADE FIRE!!!! Radiohead was so boring...
Arcade Fire. Radiohead's been a great band and one of the biggest headliners in the world for over a decade now, where as last years Coachella set was AF's coming out party. Yes, they had headlined fests before, but I don't think they had ever done a set like Coach 2011. I was at their closing lolla appearance just 7 months prior, and Coachella felt different. The audience knew they were seeing something special, and more importantly the band knew it too. There were times where the band looked teary eyed and just overcome with emotion. Add in the Creator's Project, and that is a set that will go down in both Coachella and AF history. Once in a lifetime indeed.
