I just got an em from them with pricing that is RIDICULOUS. They are obviously attempting to take advantage of Coachella fans. In addition, when I wrote back to say "no thanks", I got a very rude reply.

Please don't give your business to dubious types like this!

Yeah ,this hotel sounds crooked. I don't think any other hotel in the general palm springs area takes advantage of the influx of people attending coachella. Never.

I am the owner of Lake La Quinta Inn and I assure you it is not our policy to raise rates on specific event weekends such as Coachella although we will have a minimum number of days you are required to stay on holiday and event weekends.

We have just completed a $150,000+ renovation/upgrade at the property including upgrading all rooms plus the pool and deck areas. Our property is a boutique hotel priced at the higher end of the spectrum in accordance with the type of property it has become over the years.
