Just an FYI. I showed up Friday night around 8:30. The car search was way overboard. I was searched for 30 minutes 2 times and then patted down 2 times while waiting for the car in the rain. Thanks to some IDIOT supervisor from CSC event security. He found Some Tylenol and asked me if I had a script for them. I told him that they were over the counter. He said he knew I was hiding something so he told 6 of the worker bee's in yellow jackets to take EVERYTHING out and open it ALL up AGAIN! They unrolled sleeping bags, unfolded blankets, took out clothes, took out all contents from any container or case that I had. He found a knife that I forgot about in a car emergency kit and one of my 6yr old daughters leaf collecting containers that he opened up and proceeded to accuse me of using it for meth! He finally gave up and started throwing my things back in my car breaking one of my camping lanterns. He said "I'm gonna give you a break but I know you're hiding something". WTF!!
I politely asked him for his name and he said that he could not. He only gave me the number on his shirt #79 his shirt was light blue and apparently a supervisor. He is Latino probably spoke decent English with a slight accent. after all that my stupid battery died because my lights were on during the search. A really nice Indio office actually gave me a jump, he even laughed at the whole search drama while he watched.
I appreciate golden voice's hard working making this event safe and fun and I had a great weekend my 6th Coachella. I just wanted to let people know that the #79 CSC supervisor in the light blue shirt is a ROYAL A$$HOLE!!
