The Best Beer Garden??

I like the one in between the main and outdoor stage...you can hear the music from either of those 2 stages depending on what side you drink. 2nd best to me is the one in the back by the sahara...although i could of been drunk but in 2004 I thought i used to be able to hear the beats while drinking in it...the last 2 years i barely could hear the mojave tent. I strongly request moving that tent over so I can hear the beats while I drink..last for me is the big one on the left where you first walk in...its seems to me to be more like a bar scene than actually about the music not mentioning that it's as far away from the main stage as you can get....thoughts?? reflections???

Very true, however I don't like people calling a Hyundai a Porsche. Sure, the Hyundai will get you there but not near as fast as a Porsche.

Also, one beer is roughly equivalent to one shot of 80 proof liquor. I don't know if they up the volume of Soju to offset the alcohol content, but if they're using one shot of Soju you're getting half the alcohol of a beer for 2 dollars more.

No way. Even in strong states, beer is 6% alcohol. Which makes it 12 proof.

a shot of vodka is 80 proof.

the vodka is therefore 8 times stronger (8 times as much alcohol).

however, a beer is 12 ounces while a shot of vodka is 1 ounce. therefore, a bottle of beer has 50% more alcohol than a shot of vodka.

One 12 oz. beer at 5% = 1 1/2 ounces (1 shot) of 80 proof liquor = 5 oz. of wine

I thought the beer garden by the main stage was setup really well this year. They had bathrooms inside and they moved the fences closer to both the main stage and outdoor stage so you could stay in the garden and still see the shows well.

the first one was HORRIBLE, way too many drunkards and the place stank. the one in between the main and outdoor stage was OK, but i never really managed to see anyone from there. the one by the sahara was really chill, plenty of available shade and those meatball sandwiches were probably the best deal food wise.

I personally enjoy the beer garden in the parking lot, before the show...but i do like the beer garden between main and outdoor.

I chose the beer tent #2, but personally I wish you could take your beer anywhere on the grounds. The Vegoose festival allows that and I do not know if they have any problems with that, but I think that it makes the festival much more enjoyable.
