Showers at the Campground

Friday the showers were a joke in Lot 5. Opened late and shut down early. We walked over the employee lot across the road and security didn't care. Used the employee showers with no line. Tried that again on Saturday but security had caught on and stopped us. Saturday and Sunday were fine in Lot 5 if you waited until after 11am. Less than 30 minute wait for guys and on Sunday they even changed one of the girls showers to a guys shower because there were absolutely no girls in line. I had friends use the VIP showers and they said the showers themselves were worse than the normal ones.

I only managed to shower once the whole weekend - Saturday - and the water pressure in Lot 5 was just *terrible*.

most of my camping mates ended up showering in other lots. one person bought VIP and came home with free coffee.

I think Lot 5 just had some broken shower heads or something because some in our group had great pressure and some had almost no water coming out.

A positive experience story:

Maybe because we're old and partying late at night wasn't our thing, but my wife and I managed to take showers every night in lot 8 behind the activity tent with hot water, no wait and no time limit. After the last set we wanted to see for that night (Fri: Refused, Sat: A$AP Rocky, Sun: Dre & Snoop) we headed straight for the tent, grabbed our shower gear and walked straight into the shower trailers. If you're willing to give up some party time you can definitely make the shower situation a positive one. After your shower you can go back to drinking, smoking, dancing, and humping the night away.

I showered every day around 1230 pm in lot 10 and didn't wait once except for when they had water pressure difficulties on Sunday, but that was still only like 15 minutes.

Let's face it. All of tent campers got fucked, yet again. If you weren't there, you're not going to understand what the bitching is about concerning showers and sore feet and getting put in the dirt. You're going to be thinking, "But there was a shower just over there! We didn't have to make multiple trips with our gear! We had lush grass to camp on!" Which is pretty much awesome! It was an overall great weekend.... but some of us got severely fucked over during the course of this weekend. I never saw the showers once, and I walked around car camping for about three or four hours on Thursday night just checking shit out. Sorry to say, not all campsites are equal. This is fact I'll learn to avoid paying for in future years. Much love!

Yeah i heard other tent campers complaining too when I was in a security line near them. I'd definitely recommend avoiding tent camping if at all possible - although I do think they got seriously less fucked than last year, that was so far away from the venue.

I highly recommend a DIY shower solution. My group uses a new, clean round up mister and take turns spraying each other down each morning. Never a line.

I must have had shit luck then. I was in weird part of Lot 10 that was closer to Lot 7 I think and those lines were ridiculous. I guess it wasn't as bad when I walked to the vendor part of Lot 10.

My shower experience was overall positive. I showered everyday around 9, waited no more than 20 minutes and had hot water everytime, once it even go too hot and had to lower it. I loved lot 8.

Also, always avoid tent camping if at all possible. After tent camping last year in the horse stables and what felt like miles of walking, I'll never do it again.

100% correct. we stayed through the last set each night, walked back to our site and grabbed our showering gear, and walked straight into showers with no lines each night. beer and sex were delayed for 30 minutes.

I had a nice quick shower at around 8p on Saturday night. No lines. Sunday around 1:45p I took a VIP shower. No wait but again the stalls are dirty and littered with the previous occupant's toiletries. Not having to stand in the baking sun is worth 10 dollars though.

shower wise i tooke at least 8 showers throughout the weekend . waited an hour during 5 ishh but well worth it to be refreshed ready to go back in . every other time i waled right in and took the time of my life to enjoy the cold water

I took 3 showers all weekend and the ladies with me took 4. Didn't have a wait at any time we went. Went around 10:30am on Friday and after the shows ended at night (like, LITERALLY right after). Had our shower sh*t together and we were super close to Lot 10 showers, so we got there pretty quick.

Only problem was my sister's shower didn't have hot water one of the nights. Mine worked well, so I think she just got a broken one.

They DID seem a little more gross this year. Clogged drain one night and vomit in two of the stalls the last night (according to my sister who kept getting the lucky ones).
