Default Justice - where did it all go wrong?

One of the biggest disappointments of the weekend?

25 mins late, several technical glitches, sound cutting out - a perfect example of how to ruin a great opportunity on the main stage.

I could go on, but you could see the disappointment in their faces at the end (either that or they didn't give a fuck)

Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised - thank god for ATDI and Dre/Snoop to deliver two stunning sets....

I agree! Big bummer about the delay. You could definitely tell that they were bummed out the entire set. Didn't even scratch the surface of what they would normally play.

What logistically causes a 25 minute delay? Did they not show up to the venue on time?

Couldn't be it, we walked by the Zia tent at four when they were signing autographs.

Appears to have been similar issues as the Chemicals last year - screens not working (the screens at each side of the stage showed crowd and stage shots the whole set and no visuals)

It's still no excuse, there was a huge amount of time between the end of the Hives and their scheduled start time (although not necessarily the bands fault)

They could have thought on their feet when they realised the would only have 30 minutes to play (i.e not take up close to ten minutes of it on an elongated version of Audio, Video, Disco)

    Pre-recorded mainstage nervousness probably.

They are French, they don't operate on American time.

They posted an apology on FB:

    "Hey Coachella,
Sorry we couldn't play a full set due to big technical issues, we couldn't do anything about it, apart from doing our best; it was fun though! See you next week for a full powered show.

Give or take a couple of minutes ...... Came on around 20.10 and gone no later than 20.45 - I think I checked my watch at the end and it was 20.38......

I think the mic cut out because that indicated their actual time may have been up. They were the Celo Green of last year. You late - you lose - your mic gets cut off.

That's bullshit. Even a 50 minute set wouldn't be long enough for their show. I can't imagine 30 minutes. I'd be pissed out of my mind

Hilarious...watched it on stream and it was awful. TAKES US 30 MINUTES TO SET UP A BIG CROSS. Such garbage, boring stage, boring song selection, all around terrible "performance". Never been a fan of them and even I was expecting a lot more, feel bad for their fans who were there, must've been a huge disappointment.

Id feel somewhat worse for them if they didnt bring back the exact same show they have had for 5 years now (with some new songs)

Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.

Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.

We were in the crowd for Justice. They went on about 20-25 minutes late. At least when they did come out, it made them focus on just playing their best stuff. It was short, but the crowd was insane. I was happy with the set, even though it was shorter than it was originally supposed to be.

this is what you idiots get for crowding in to see an objectively terrible EDM act on a festival mainstage.

Was definitely one of my must sees and they really disappointed me. Dont get me wrong,I enjoyed myself but their set was just way too short. I'll give them another shot if they come to San Diego.

Justice are terrible. They are just a sub par Daft Punk but aren't creative whatsoever. It's for people who don't normally listen to EDM. Kinda like that Guetta and SHM bullshit.
    I'd do suprefan.

While I agree, there is nothing more pathetic than defending a Jackstraw post.
