    Default Dear Radiohead

Shut up and play the hits.

Seriously, one hour in to your set you cant be arsed to play any of your older material.

What a bunch of self-absorbed egotistical assholes.

    Signed,
Everyone (except that one guy who is REALLY into King of Limbs.)

The new songs did sound about 1000 times better live than on the cd though.

But I did see a constant stream of people leaving about 30 to 45 minutes into their set.

Theoretically interesting music competently played for people wanting to love it more than they actually do. And lights.

The set was disappointing. I'm not enough of a fan to glorify everything they do. I'm not asking for hits remotely but when everyone's starting to freeze it's hard to appreciate the slow tempo.

Shut the fuck up. They are Radiohead, they'll play what they want. They had an amazing set list last night (my only complaint about their tour is lack of Bends tunes, particularly Fake Plastic Trees). They've graced us with some of the best music ever for the last two decades. If they don't want to play Creep (Thom hates this song), FPT, Street Spirit, Karma Police, Idioteque, Paranoid Android, There There, etc. they don't have to. But they played at least half of these last night. Their new album isn't my favorite but it's damn good live. They'll always be good live. So don't sit there all high and mighty and act like you represent everybody at Coachella when really you represent a very small population of them. Most of the people I saw quite enjoyed Radiohead last night.

Your drinking that water pretty hard.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Change "two" to "one" and post this in 2002 and you'd have a point.

The new live show shed most of it's carbon footprint by taking place so far up Thom Yorke's ass.

Thats a heart-smart Earth-friendly choice I think we can all appreciate.

You're telling me that HTTT (2003) and IR (2007) aren't fucking great albums? They match up to OKC and Kid A for me. KOTL isn't their greatest, but it sure is better than PH and I think maybe better or at the level of The Bends.

Yes that is exactly what I am telling you.
HTTT is a fucking dirge and IR is better, but wouldn't be nearly as lauded if it was by any other band that didn't have the Radiohead "brand" attached to it.
    KoL is mostly forgettable.

The set was fine. They prepared 75 songs for the tour and just play whatever the hell they feel like every night. They ended with paranoid android so all is well.

    Also, the crowd fucking sucked.

Radiohead was incredible. I've never been a huge fan, but after a performance like that, I have a lot of catching up to do. I understand being a huge fan of the band, but really, getting pissy because they didn't play your personal set list is retarded. The show was absolutely amazing, haters, so go stick your head up your ass and eat shit.

    Dear radiohead,

Why cant you be more like Squeeze? They came out, played some feel good rock and roll for 45 mins, then played that one song that everyone knows. I was trying to hear the lead singer from the speakers in the beer garden, but he didnt even sing words, just fucking high pitched moaning. For a band that just graced the cover of Rolling Stone, you have no fucking clue how to rock out.

I've definitely started using it more lately. Makes me sound... folksy. People like folksy.

The most valuable lesson this board will teach is that people will complain about anything.

Cry for Radiohead every year, and when they show up, rag on them. Nevermind that every band in the planet favors their latest album on nearly every tour. Never mind that we all know going in they won't play most of their back catalog.

Go to Setlist.fm, look at recent shows, if you think it sucks, watch something else. I'm not even a RH fanboy and I can't fathom the whining.

God damn, i keep letting myself get trolled by these dumb fucks, but lets think of this...

Why did Radiohead play mostly KOL stuff?

Maybe because they're on their KOL tour?

    Seriously, stupid ass people...
