1) I'm flying to LAX, so what then? How do I get to the festival? Please help!

2) How far are the hotels from the festival? Any recommendations?

3) Do I need to rent a car?

4) How much are tickets going to be?

Rent a car, or it will be a very expensive taxi ride.

2) How far are the hotels from the festival? Any recommendations?
The closest hotels to the festival are in Palm Springs, if there are any left. Which is about a 35 minute drive away from Indio.

3) Do I need to rent a car?
YES YES YES. Unless you can get a carpool going.

4) How much are tickets going to be?
$85 a day or $249 for a 3-day pass. + surcharges and applicable fees.

im coming from dublin. last year we flew in to LAX and rented a car at the airport, it was cool. then we drove to the site(about 4 hours or so) and camped in the campsite. it was deadly.
