Mazzy Star...a complete waste of my time.
Yuck has a self describing name
I didn't go in the Sahara, but I'm sure it was something in there.

Yuck was terrible. I liked their album but they had no energy, terrible sound and the dude with the teal guitar looked like he was valedictorian of the Keith Richards School of Hard Livin'.
They tweeted that they needed a place to stay. It looked like they slept on bus benches.
Another vote for Frank Ocean.

It is disappointing when the show doesn't live up to the promise of the album, which was true in the case of Yuck. Too be fair, they were having a few significant technical issues, which did affect the sound quality and also might have thrown them.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.

Lol @ people actually going to see Mazzy Star. And they shut down the mainstage for her set. Ha!
Yuck was so bad and I was a huge fan of the album. I'm so glad others realized this. On a related note, Neon Indian and Wild Flag didn't sound too hot either. Maybe something was up with the outdoor stage?
I thought M. Ward was a snooze-fest. To be fair, I didn't stay to finish. There were too many other good things going on.
Also, I thought M83's sound was really bad. But I've read people all over the forums who really liked their set, so I'm wondering if I was just too far away. I was really sad I left the end of Explosions to catch part of it.
I went in a fan of yuck and almost fail asleep on the rail. Terrible
Tired to watch Amon Tobin as I have heard many great things about the stage set up but I just could not sit there when Sweedish House Mafia was going off.
I have a hard time believing the stream for Mazzy Star was better than being there and it blew me away.
ok it didn't blow me away, but the 30 minutes I saw were very good.

Frank Ocean completely bombed. The sound was messed up and he was playing weird versions of his songs. Worst i saw all weekend, and im a big fan of his ep.
Yeah, Frank Ocean looked pissed off the entire show. Earl didn't come out but Tyler did for Analog 2. They didn't even touch She. The girls in the crowd loved it. It got humid really quickly.![]()

yeah i saw yuck, frank ocean, and mazzy star. fucking terrible decisions.
neon indian was not good, and that sucked.
I think Frank Ocean was having lots of tech problems. The tent was pretty packed and my friends in the back said they couldn't hear much. I was pretty close where you could actually hear. The guy's got a great voice and good stage presence and he seemed very genuine. I wouldn't be surprised if they had it all figured out next week.
Didn't see Mazzy Star but The Rapture blew me away. If you've never seen House of Jealous Lovers live you should. People were going nuts and they absolutely destroyed that song and the rest of their set.
Yuck was a letdown and I love that album.
