Looked great on the webcast
For me he was the best set I saw yesterday. He just wailed on that guitar.
Oh fuck yeah. I'm ditching James way early so i can get a spot on the rails for that shit.
The man played for Obama on PBS people, how you gonna miss that?!?
Great set indeed!
Let's go on a livin' spree!
Okay, I'll admit that's another drawback for Week 2. He was so fucking awesome that its now gonna be near impossible to get in the tent next Fri. Same with M83, assuming it was possible to get any worse.
No, don't, don't cut my hair, Ned loves my hair.
Really looking forward to this set next weekend!
If you dig his style check out The Soft White Sixties out of SF. Here's part of their performance from SXSW:
Yea seeing him was an experience. Closest thing I'll ever see to Jimi. The epitome of cool and a beast on the guitar.
Very happy I caught part of his set.
Always wear a helmut
He just popped up on my ipod at work and I was transported back to Friday.1 afternoon, with the cloudy grey sky backdrop, the wind gusting, the palm trees bending and twisting around behind the stage, and feeling how awesome it was to see this in person and how weird it was to be wearing long sleeves in the desert at 4:30pm. Has it been nearly two weeks already?![]()

I decided to listen to some of his music before going. I was more impressed with him live. He rocked that tent, man did he shred. In my top 3 favorites of last weekend.
He was so goood he played third stone from the sun was very goood indeed
but my boyfriend didnt like him (lame)
so fucking dank
By far my favorite act of the weekend (right next to Dre. & Snoop). Such a badass performance, that guitar...
Nice pics supre...
This guy is a very talented artist. Soul, trippy noise and rhythm for days.
He can really do things with reverb and feedback...harnessing the energy like a young Hendrix.
Love his voice and lyrics too. Thank you Coachella for introducing.
Straight up, reincarnation of jimmy. This guy took me on a magical ride through blues, funk, and soul. Definitely a must see in my book
Knew thismuch about him before weekend one, caught the end of his act was totally sucked in, went back for the whole thing weekend 2. I almost passed out it was so hot and sweaty in that tent, but it was so worth it. Great set.
2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 W1, 2012 W2, 2013 W1, 2013 W2, and SOON 2014 W1 & 2014 W2!!
Did anyone see that gary clark's bright lights was the theme song for the NFL 2012 draft it was cool he is getting that recognition.
The solo on Bright Lights with the palm trees blowing in the storm behind him was a moment. Superb musicianship.
