Default Coachella Newbie - What to bring for Car Camping?

    Hello all!

I've never been to Coachella before and I'm looking for some veterans who have gone and car camped. There will be 5 of us in one spot, so what are some good things to bring? What are some things that are not allowed? I know a tent is a must, but can you have coolers and food? Also, little stove things, are those allowed? I'm just clueless and would love some input. Thank you!!!

    -Kristen

Not sure if serious, but start here http://www.coachella.com/travel-lodging/on-site-camping and then scroll through the Camping section you posted in and read the hundred threads discussing these same questions.

5 in one spot is already too many. Trust.

Wet ones ( for a quick "shower"), lots of water, sleeping pad/air mattress...

Two tents in one spot is already too many.

I have to agree. I think 2 people max is ideal. Keep in mind that you all need room to sleep, for your things, and to move around. You can make it work but it will really be a true test to see if you guys are still friends after.

Five in one spot is going to kinda suck.

Your best bet might be to build a Monkeyhut and sleep in there. But you will have NO SPACE with five people.

You're right, I'll move it to the affirmative:

Kristen, you should definitely build a monkeyhut instead of bringing tents and maybe try to trade a regular wristband for a second wristband + car camping pass.

Baby powder, bacon, red bulls, coolers full of beer, a lawn chair, some cards, plastic bendy straws, a fan, towels, air mattress, hot dogs, sun block, ipod, speakers, a hat, sunglasses, beer, beans and cheese, an inflatable pool shark, an ez up, bathing suits, alieve, whiskey, a coleman grill, drugs, short shorts, maybe a sweatshirt, your wristband, flashlights, a car, tacos, socks, things to hide drugs in, sandals, beer, bandanas......
