The weather is just about perfect in my opinion. It is nice to wear a sweater in the evening and not perspiring during the day or baking in your tent in the morning. The only drawback to the weather is the lack of girls in bikini's.

It depends what you like. Almost everyone I talked to was bitching about the cold weather, but if they had actually checked the forecast and brought a damn jacket, I think it would have been awesome. I had so much more energy because I wasn't baking in the sun. I wish every Coachella was this cool, but I know it will never be that way again. The only thing that really sucked was having to go back to change every afternoon. Such a waste of valuable concert time.

Exactly, if you came prepared the weather wasn't too horrible, but I'd really prefer to just wear t-shirt and shorts all day and night instead or having to bring extra clothes and worry about when to go for a locker run. Sunday was pretty perfect if you ask me. Hot but bearable during the day and perfect at night.

I'll take weekend 1 any day....the weather was fucking amazing! Pocket of rain on friday....cool all day saturday (t-shit and shorts - day, pants and jacket at night) and Sunday t-shirt and shorts all day and all night long...not cold...but not hot.

The tents didn't have that body odor they usually do.....they will this weekend.

Regarding the dust problem, I hope they put down some new sod at least inside the gates. Not much they can do about the walk back to the car though.

Looks like it's supposed to be 99 on Friday with a low of 71, 103 on Saturday with a low of 74, and 102 on Sunday with a low of 72. This is according to www.weather.com. The highs are pretty damn high, but the lows are perfect.

I don't think it'll get that hot. I remember last year it was projected to be a lot hotter than it was. I'm thinking it'll be around 97 each day. If it gets up to 106 at any point then I'll be chillin in the Do Lab a lot. I've been going to Chella since 2008 so I welcome that dry desert heat every year. Way better than Lollapalooza humidity.

The Do Lab has no shade this year, it has a couple structures set up in a circle but that wont do a great job blocking out the sun. I was burning hot un Sunday this year and it was only in the mid 80s cant imagine how horrible it would be with 100+ temperature.

Your best bet for beating the heat would have to be somewhere in the terrace, maybe the Heinken domes. I think the weather for weekend 1 was perfect, besides for the walk at night we would have to make back to the car that was a little chilly. The drizzle on Friday night was fantastic that was a first for me at an outdoor festival. I was at the Sahara tent and for some odd reason, maybe because I was just on such a good level, I would not feel the rain on me but when I looked up at the light I would see it coming down. It was only for about 20 minutes.
