Is a black and white film camera considered a professional camera?

any camera with a detachable lens will not be allowed.....it'd be a waste of time to walk to security...they'll turn you around then have fun marching back...putting it away then marching back then waiting in the security line again.

the security line will be 20-30 min...you really want to go through it twice.....

use your head...they say NO detachable lenses.....the security all know this...they ain't letting you through

I tried last year with my Canon A-1. They didn't allow it. So it sat in my tent the whole weekend.

Although I only tried the 1st day. The 2nd day, it looked like a lot more people were able to sneak in their (mostly digital) SLRs, or the security didn't make such a big deal. It's up to you to try, but expect the need to walk back to your car/tent if you fail.

day 2 and 3 of security are almost nill...they are a lot more relaxed....day 3 they don't even check your bags.
