Nevermind that they just completely ignored the part about tent stakes and mallets. Looks like there's going to be a canopy through a windshield or two when those winds pick up

Wind picked up awhile ago and a bunch of canopies went flying up into the air and several rows over.

Yeah, that's a great idea. Faced with the option of surrendering stakes and going forth or raising hell and holding up the line, you choose the latter. When you can apparently just buy stakes inside. That's the spirit.

Took all tent stakes(plastic and metal)and PVC we had for a shade structure. They said no homemade tents are allowed.

If you're now without a structure of some sort for your campsite, we have an extra tent left from our first year camping. It's 7x10, I believe, and the rain cover may be missing, but it's nothing that a tarp couldn't fix. We live right down the road and will be headed that way shortly.If you're still in need of something, thanks to those idiots taking all you had, leave a message here or look for the wigwam/teepee or ask for Brokendoll or Suffacated. Someone is sure to maybe have spotted us somewhere out there.You're welcome to call it home for the weekend if need be.

wristbands are being scanned going into camping. our neighbors car camping pass was purchased third party and they got in just fine, don't know how that worked though?

2:00/3:00PM - Lot 8 stopped being filled and Lot 5 began being filled.
4:00PM - Lot 5 and Lot 8 would appear to be both filling in.

Early reports suggest that stakes, rubber mallets, and PVC piping have been confiscated - even as far as to say "no home made/custom tenting or shading allowed"
Later reports suggest the early report may not be implemented any longer.

It has been reported that "neighbors" of HEYERIC board member had purchased Car Camping passes from a third party, not linked to said "neighbors" wristbands purchased from Front Gate and managed to get into Car Camping.

Thank you for the summary! I think it would also be valuable (for Weekend 2 folks) to know what lot people got into based on what time they got into the car camping line.
E.g. I arrived at 9:20am and got into the front part of Lot 8 near the entrance at 2:30pm.

Thieving as security confiscated 3 mini kegs of heady beer from us upon car search. They are trying very hard to take as much alcohol as they can especially if you have bomb brews.
