Where's Underworld and Mew? Make it happen GV.
Great venue. I saw the Flaming Lips perform the Soft Bulletin there last year. Stop by Roscoe's and pick up dinner. You won't regret it.
"Well, that's just like, you know... your opinion, man"
fuck yes.
It's hard to imagine a more ideal Socal spot for this show.
I bet the ticketing is gonna be rough...
Oh hell yes! I've only done the summer film screenings at HF, but this does seem like a perfect location for them.
I hope they play only melancholy material. I am there either way!
For your health

I wonder if they'll do a sunrise show like they did with Bon Iver back in 2009?
It was pretty killer, they open the gates at midnight Saturday and encourage people to bring sleeping bags, blankets, food, and drink. Justin Vernon picked the film Bottle Rocket to be projected on the wall of the masonic lodge there. I remember conking out sometime late during the night and then woke up to Buddhist Monks chanting their blessings in the pre-dawn fog surrounding the mausoleums and graves. Then as soon as the sun started to rise Bon Iver started playing. Needless to say it was a cool and unique experience that seems tailor made for Sigur Ros.
Oh jeez this will be impossible to get tickets.
Sigur Ros also at outside lands!
So what happened to the presale. I was suppose to get information about it and nothing. Hmmmm
Presale happened yesterday at 8am. Sold out instantly.

I was at Coachella still when that presale happened. Not a shot in hell. AND THEY GET EARLY ADMISSION.
Eh, I don't want to be uber close for this anyway. Wherever it's decided that the sound will be best and loudest, that's where I'll be.

Is this going to sell out instantly tomorrow? I've got two other potentially instant sell out shows to buy for ay the exact same time![]()
Austra - Colin Stetson - Skyline Electric - The Pacific Rim Projekt - The National - Goat Rodeo - Hopscotch 2013- Body/Head - GY!BE - Beirut/Vampire Weekend - Tim Hecker
I would imagine that it will be; I think TallGuy said somewhere else it has all the hallmarks of an instant sellout (falls on a weekend, great venue, no other SoCal shows, etc.). Maybe get a friend to help you out with the other one?

couldn't they make this before or after OSL. i want to do both![]()
If anyone, for some bizarre reason, ends up with a couple of extra tickets, let me know. Just got booked for an 11:30-12:30 meeting tomorrow which will be impossible to get out of and in which wifi won’t be available. My friends who are going already scored tickets during the pre-sale. Middle class 30-something brown people problems.
