Both those sets are start-to-finish kinda sets. Probably moreso with FlyLo, especially if he's debuting a new album and bringing a full band. Which would y'all choose?

bon iver if you want to be close for radiohead, if you don't give a fuck then fly lo
Fuuu...
I actually have this controversial theory that it's kinda great to watch from the back. I saw Arcade Fire from waaay in the back. It was great. Sound was great. The glowing balls even made it back to us. Plenty of room to dance. Nobody pressing into me. I don't know if it's worth it to watch my favorite band from roughly the middle of the crowd, pressed between a million people, not able to move.

Two different styles. If you like guitars, Bon Iver. If you like drum machines, Flying Lotus.
Agree but Bon Iver has a lot more than guitars these days. I can't wait to hear how loud those saxes are through the Main Stage sound system.
this greatly upsets me. bon iver setting up for radiohead (my #1 for weekend) is amazing. but flying lotus is my #2 for the weekend..
/sigh
Flylo into Godspeed into Radiohead. Everyone knows the back of the mainstage is where the party is at ^_^
Aaight. So I'm not crazy re: my back of the house theory. I seriously prefer it back there.
Also, going to Flow in Finland which has Bon Iver performing the opening concert, with FlyLo playing the next day. So I guess I have nothing to complain about. Seriously, I would be so happy if someone from this board was also going to Flow Fest. I would go out of my way to meet up with them and say hi.
But I digress.
Yesssss i think it's gonna be FlyLo. Saw Bon Iver a few months ago in Chi. It was great, but if FlyLo is playing his new album, I'll be kicking myself if I wasn't one of the first to have heard it![]()

Wow just looked at the Flow Festival line up. Significantly better than Coachella. Jealous.
Why do european festivals always have to put american festivals to shame?
Because. Working on that EU citizenship paperwork right now...
Have you seen the BLOC 2012 lineup? It's fucking painful. http://www.blocweekend.com/lineup/

FlyLo plays all the time and his shows are relatively inexpensive compared to Bon Iver. so theres one perspective.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. Still, very sadProbably going to see Bon Iver since FlyLo is in LA a lot.
I didn't see Bon Iver per se this last year (sat up above Berkeley's Greek theater and eves dropped the show) but they sounded incredible and the show was totally engaging. I say this because, even if you aren't super close for their set it'll still probably be great (though, they must be getting tired of playing the same 20 songs considering how long they've been on tour).
Personally, I'll be in the tent with Godspeed, but it sounds like no matter your choice it's probably a win-win.
Yes! Back is tops. And those 3 acts in a row is a dream come true.
i'll be at bon iver. it'll give me a chance to nap before radiohead goes on.
