They've also made plenty of reason$ throughout their career to not give a fuck. If Dre's sole purpose at this point was making money, he could do a nationwide tour and sell out every basketball stadium in the country, yet he hasn't in 10+ years... and what in Dre's history has he shown to prove he's a "timely" man? The Detox album that was supposed to come out 10 years ago?

Even assuming that these guys are late for everything, don't care about financial incentives for keeping to schedule, etc. etc., they're media savvy enough to want the big post Weekend 1 headlines to be something other than "Showed Up Late, had Underwhelming Set Cut Short."
