Why are all the stages shut down for dre and snoop?

DJ Shadow, Modeselektor and Avicii have no set ending times. So they can go on just as long as Dre and Snoop. They aren't shut down

I am hoping for a 2-hr Modeselektor set as well. If not though I'll coast over to Snoop and Dre. Not super into them but they're pretty good and it is a rare set so why not.

I never said they couldn't I just said the aren't which is true. Who is hoping the OP or Dre and Snoop? And there will definitely be SOMEONE playing at the same time as Dre and Snoop, just not the whole time.

I agree in general there is a lot of bad live rap. However, Kendrick Lamar is great live. Too bad they gave him a daytime slot.

You guys talking about this "shadowsphere" are making me hurt in my chest. I have yet to see DJ Shadow live. I definitely think i'm going with Modeselektor on this conflict though. Even though i've seen modeselektor already they just kill it live. I'm sure shadow will be great, but modeselektor will have more energy and more dancing, which is why I goto coachella. But I love the hell out of DJ Shadow too.

I hope they are both playing 2 hour sets so I have no problem going between both.
It looks like they will both be playing for quite a while at least. OP is an idiot if he thinks the stages are "shut down" when they clearly have no ending time. In all the coachella's i've been to that always mean that stages just keep going as long as they can. The only time they've shut stages down was for Madonna, and that was announced officially.

The dre and snoop performance is a once in a life time moment. I haven't seen them both together in concert since 2000. Also, Avcii will close the Sahara Tent so there's an alternative choice for those scared of watching the godfathers of 90's gangster rap.

I know, it really will be hard. Imagine when you're in the middle of going fucking crazy for Mode then you look at your watch and realize you have to leave for Dre.

But that's the life of a Coachella attendee. First world problems haha
