the huge gap before kaskade is for his new stage setup he's debuting at coachella.. Madeon's set change is the oddest in my opinion, i wonder what he has.

Because every DJ and their mother is causing the trend started by Daft Punk and continuing with Deadmau5 - Avicii and Kaskade (and SHM) are premiering new light shows / stage setups / whatever, and i wouldn't be surprised if others had special setups as well.

^^ they need to set up the stages so extending the time just extends when the set-up guys can start working.

It's something that was just unheard of back when I was raving. The music didn't stop on a stage and watching the new DJ come and greet the guy about to leave was really cool. Now they all want their own stage to throw their pop concert. It is what it is. The more elaborate the stage, the less time you have to dance because it requires more time to set up.

Yeah, they are going to cut down Afrojacks set and put Daft Punk in there. In Sahara. Not even headlining. Sounds totally plausible.
